Moving to Summit?
Still in the city while your new home needs attention. Locks, paint, fixtures, maybe a bathroom. Could be two days. Could be a week. You do not know yet — and that is fine.
We assess it properly, quote it honestly, and handle it. We open the door in the morning. You get a photo report at the end of each day. You do not need to be there once.
Most new Summit homeowners become Steward Subscribers. By the time the job is done, we know their home completely.
The range is wide. The process is always the same.
No fixed menus. Every job quoted on its own terms by us, our trusted subcontractors, or both working alongside each other.
E.g. Quoted handyman jobs, Pre-listing preparation, New home move-in, Interior painting, Exterior painting, Bathroom renovation, Kitchen update, Flooring, Carpentry and built-ins, Deck construction, Powerwashing etc.

The bathroom caulking that needs redoing properly. The deck that needs a coat before summer. The garage that finally needs real shelving. A fresh coat of paint in the living room — new colour, new feeling. The front of the house powerwashed before it goes on the market.
Not urgent enough to lose sleep over. Too big to squeeze into a Steward Subscription visit.
We assess it, quote it, and handle it. Some jobs we do ourselves. Some we bring in the right people for. And if you already have a contractor you trust — we can be there to coordinate, oversee, and make sure the day runs properly. You do not need to take time off work. We open the door. We are there when you cannot be.

No. Steward Projects is open to any Summit homeowner. Contact us through the website, describe the job, and we will arrange an assessment. If you are already a subscriber, the conversation usually starts during a regular visit — we notice it, document it, and bring it to you when the time is right.

Every project is individually scoped and quoted. We do not publish fixed prices because no two jobs are the same.

It is our fee for sourcing the right people, managing the job, and holding the standard throughout. Agreed per project at the time of quoting — not a fixed published percentage. Steward Estate subscribers receive a reduced coordination fee on all projects.

No. We open up in the morning, oversee everything throughout the day, and send you a photo report before the day is out. If you have your own contractors coming in separately — a flooring company you trust, for example — we can be there to receive them, oversee their work, and handle everything else on your list at the same time.

Yes — and this is one of the most powerful combinations The Home Steward offers. We notice what needs doing during your Away visits, send you a Home Health Summary before you return, and with Away Estate, contractor oversight can be added as a separately scoped service. You approve the quote before you leave. We manage the job while you are gone. You return to a completed home.

A new written quote comes first. Always. Work does not continue beyond the approved scope until you have signed off on the change. No exceptions.

IUsually 30 to 60 minutes depending on the scope. No charge for the assessment. No obligation to proceed. Non-subscribers can request a formal project consultation for $250 — credited in full toward any approved job over $2,000.

Nothing if you are a Steward subscriber. We are already in your home — assessing what needs attention is part of what we do.
Not a subscriber? The assessment is $250. If you start a subscription within 30 days of your project completing, that $250 is waived in full.
Either way, no work starts and nothing is charged beyond the assessment until you have approved a written quote.
